Stockport NHS Foundation trust has vacancies for keen and motivated band 5 staff nurses to join the critical care team. The Critical care unit provides care for level 2 and level 3 patients.

Critical care nursing is an interesting, challenging and rewarding specialism where there is opportunity to enhance knowledge and clinical skills, as well as deliver fundamental aspects of nursing care to a very high standard.

As a successful candidate, you can look forward to working within a friendly and supportive environment where training and education are awarded high priority. You will be offered 6 weeks initial supernumerary status working alongside experienced critical care nurses. Professional development is supported within a friendly team structure. We also offer opportunities to undertake a recognized critical care course.

For nurses currently working with the NHS in an acute area this is a fantastic opportunity to further develop their skills. The post involves regular rotation onto night duty and rotations through the intensive care and high dependency areas. We can accommodate full time and part time positions.

Stepping Hill will be holding a recruitment day on the 25th June 2019 in Pinewood House building. This will be running from 10:00am to 15:00pm.
