  • Are you an experienced Finance professional looking for your next move?
  • Are you comfortable presenting at Board level; able to provide clear, accurate information to both financial AND non-financial managers?
  • Lastly, is it important to you that your next move is one that's in a supportive, friendly environment; where the employees of the business are at the heart of every business decision?

The Bennie Group is a family business founded over 80 years ago. Now in their third generation they employ over 150 people. The Group has many divisions; ranging from earthmoving to orthopaedic footwear and whilst each division operates in a variety of different and diverse industries, they are bound together by core business principles and a strong work ethic that unites them as one group.

Their mission is to be a family of great companies; to create an environment in which people aspire to work and whose work is recognised, whose recognition is valued and whose value is rewarded.

We are now working together to recruit a Finance Business Partner into the team in Burton Latimer, Northampton, to support the Senior Management team and take responsibility for all business reporting and management accounts to assist with decision making across the group.

You'll be based at the company's head office, which is responsible for influencing the direction and operational effectiveness of the businesses. Working centrally across all Group companies they deliver a range of centralised services in Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, H&S and Strategy.

Reporting to the Group Finance Controller, you'll hold a varied, fast-paced role where your responsibilities will involve everything from reporting, compliance, cash management and project accounting. You'll be relied upon to provide financial statements, profit and loss accounts, variance analysis and balance sheets, so it's important that you're coming with substantial experience of working within a similar role and are able to work unsupervised (yet fully supported at all times).

We'd love to find someone that's coming with experience of ERP systems and with strong IT skills. The software used is Sage 200 and the role will need someone who is happy with spreadsheets and able to navigate Office365.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely team at a really exciting time. You'll be someone that embraces positive change and who is able to work productively and proactively in an agile, fast-changing environment. If you have accounting qualifications then that's great but we are equally keen to hear from you if you're qualified by experience (especially if you're from a similar sector to us!)

Positivity, personality, enthusiasm and motivation are key within a role like this so we are looking for someone really special.

If you feel that you're matching up on most of the requirements of this role and you'd consider yourself to be a strong communicator; someone who builds relationships at all levels with ease and who has all the analytical, problem solving and quantitative skills you know are essential to take on a role such as this, then contact me today for the full job description.
