Position: Dementia Support Worker 
Location: Dunstable, Bedfordshire 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £20,345 actual per annum

About the role: 

You will join the Luton and Bedfordshire team providing the information and support people with dementia need to live their lives. You will also have a specific remit in Luton to develop our work with BAME communities and develop improved links with GP surgeries. 

About you: 

Could you help people with dementia improve their sense of well-being and support them to take more control of their lives? Are you committed to ensuring that everyone affected by dementia can access our services? Can you navigate your way around local and national support services to ensure that those you are working with have access to the support they need? If this sounds like you, then you will also need to have empathy, good time management skills to manage a caseload, record your interactions and work to a high standard. 

You will also be building networks and partnerships with other providers to help facilitate the best support available and you will be actively engaged in gathering feedback from service users to evaluate services.
