We are currently recruiting for an Administrator (Service Co-ordinator) to work on the Greater Manchester Early Help Programme. Key tasks will include providing administrative support to Vocational Rehabilitation Consultants (VRCs) and Partnership Managers, including: booking external appointments; co-ordinating purchase orders for spot-purchase services; and general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as a point of contact for incoming calls, directing them to the most appropriate VRC / Health Practitioner
  • Providing ad-hoc data input to support VRCs
  • Contacting participants at alternative times (e.g. early mornings, evenings etc) to arrange VRC appointments

  • Strong communicator written and verbally, good listening skills
  • Ability to plan, organise, manage priorities and own workload
  • Ability to work to deadlines under pressure

  • Ability to take ownership for assignments and demonstrates accountability for results
  • Ability to commit to working as part of a team to work towards shared goals;
  • Self-starter with strong planning and organisations skills
  • High degree of accuracy / attention to detail
  • Intermediate IT Skills - Microsoft Office suite and Database use.
  • GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Previous administration experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Option for development in this role by completing a Customer Service/Business Administration Apprenticeship.
