The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe caring and respectful way. Your main duty will be to collect blood samples by venepuncture for laboratory analysis from all relevant clinical areas. Previous experience in phlebotomy is desirable however full training will be provided in all aspects of the job. It is essential that you demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to set patients at ease. Car owner / driver is desirable. Hours of duty: 12.00 per week (7.30am - 11.30am working three days over seven - will include either a Saturday or Sunday each week. It is essential that some flexibility be shown regarding the days and times of work periods.The initial training for these posts will take place during weekdays.
