Advice Quality (AQT) Team Leader

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 plus bonus

Contract: Permanent

The Opportunity:

The AQT Team Leader will provide guidance, instruction, direction and leadership to a team of approximately ten business assessors.

The Team Leader reports to the AQT Manager and will monitor both the quantitative and qualitative results achieved by their team members individually and collectively, ensuring that performance is maximised. Specifically, the AQT Team Leader will be required to ensure quotas are met and exceeded whilst standards adhered to.

  • Monitoring and driving the team's contributions to meeting and exceeding quotas
  • Management of the team to include

o Work Allocations.

o Objective Setting.

o One to ones.

o Completion of personal development plans.

o Absence coverage.
  • Identifying and building relationships with key contacts (both internally and externally) and providing advice and guidance as required.
  • Promotion of team work within the Advice Quality Department.
  • Troubleshooting and dealing with more challenging situations with Advisers.
  • Identifying, highlighting and mitigating risk.
  • Sign-off of rejected cases and monitoring to ensure appropriate action is taken.
  • QA of all team cases.
  • Provide guidance on technical queries.
  • Acting as a positive role model for your team of business assessors

What you need:
  • Level 4 Diploma or equivalent essential; Level 6, Chartered or Certified desirable.
  • Previous managerial experience in an FS organisation, ideally within Advice Quality or Business Assessment.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection and Financial Crime (you will be expected to pass relevant tests).
  • Excellent product knowledge is essential
  • Knowledge of FCA legislation, particularly TCF and Data Protection.
  • Previous knowledge of the company or other AR network structures advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, able to delegate where beneficial.
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Sound judgement and decision making skills.
  • Good analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, prioritising effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Good market, risk and business awareness.
