Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

Salary: Expereince bid writer (£35,000 - £40,000) pro rata per annum or Exceptional graduate (£25,000 - £30,000)

The role:
  • Identify and coordinate opportunity alerts to help support tender pipeline development, communicating information to key decision-makers
  • Work within the bid management process, ensuring all activity is coordinated and follows an agree sign-off process
  • Complete Standard Qualification questionnaires, RFIs, RFPs
  • Contribute to, write and review content for ITTs
  • Gather information from subject matter experts (SMEs) across the business and translate into compelling responses
  • Maintain and enhance bid library
  • Contribute to research phase of bid process
  • Attend Bidder events

Some travel including occasional overnight stays may be required, so a full clean driving licence is desired.

The candidate:
  • Significant experience (minimum 2 years preferred) supporting and contributing to bids with proven success
  • Excellent proposal writing and editing experience
  • Highly organised with robust project management skills / ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-driven with strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of wider bid team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confident communicator
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
