We are looking for an organised and efficient person to join our growing BusDev team. You will need to be a team player, proactive, enthusiastic and able to work to tight deadlines.

Working with the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting with the inflow of work from existing clients and ensuring that their they receive a full and timely response to their queries and requests for new work, whilst building a strong working relationship with these clients.

The Business Development Co-ordinator is responsible for ensuring that the relevant systems / trackers are kept up to date, with complete and accurate information.

  • Strong administrative & experience
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Understanding of small businesses' work environment.

  • An understanding of the food industry and/or food production preferred
  • A basic knowledge of the principles of regulatory affairs / food labelling

  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A quick learner, willing to take on new skills & knowledge.
  • Customer service-oriented and committed to providing an outstanding level of service to all.
  • Professional and smart, and able to communicate appropriately with clients

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Acknowledges queries and requests for new business as appropriate - always within 1 working day.
  • Liaises with internal teams to create accurate quotation and TAT for client
  • Liaises with Regulatory teams to provide answers to specialist queries
  • Ensures Client queries are responded to in a timely manner, with full and accurate information.
  • Sets up new projects on the relevant IT system and passes over to the NBPM for delivery
  • Checks and Maintains complete and accurate data on systems, at all stages of the project.
  • Ensure system data is complete for invoicing.
  • Client Reporting - produce status reports as required and provide to Business Development Manager
  • Internal Reporting - produce new business & other reports
