Salary: £25,419 to £30,503 per annum 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Location: South Manchester 

About the Role: 

Reporting to the Service Desk manager, the Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for ensuring all incoming incidents and problems assigned to them are prioritised, analysed and then resolved as efficiently as possible. You will be working as part of the Service Desk team to make sure we deliver excellent customer service while meeting our agreed SLA’s. 

You will be responsible for providing 2nd line support for all current and future ICT systems and applications within the business with a customer focus while always striving to meet targets and looking at ways to improve the ICT service to the business 

About You: 

The Successful candidate will be qualified to a minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths. You will have experience providing 2nd line IT support and will have experience supporting Windows 7 / 10 / 365. You will also have experience of MS AD and Exchange and working within and ITIL support framework. Experience using an ITSM ticketing system will be essential and you should have experience supporting MS office products as well as web-based applications as well as knowledge and experience of a wide range of ICT solutions and techniques. 

Experience of working to SLA and KPI targets and strong attention to detail is important for the role and you will have strong customer service skills and excellent verbal and written communication. 

A level education or equivalent would be beneficial as would MCSA / MCSE or equivalent certification or an ITIL Foundation. If you have knowledge of Housing Associations and of current housing sector environment it would also be advantageous. 

A Driving licence would also be beneficial
