What it's about

We are looking for a resourceful Executive Assistant to provide a professional and responsive administrative, organisational, and logistical service to the Chief Executive Officer for Cambridge Assessment English.

The role is key to supporting and underpinning the work of the Chief Executive Officer to allow her to concentrate on running the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Complex diary management
  • Preparing correspondence on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, using your initiative to prioritise and highlight urgent correspondence.
  • Proactive management of busy diary commitments, papers, and travel arrangements troubleshooting problems to ensure efficient resolution.
  • Support work on projects involving extensive collaboration internally and externally as required.
  • Take the lead to initiate, chase and escalate work activities to ensure deadlines are met for all business activity
  • Service meetings, including the production of agendas, minutes and key papers, and take action notes at all meetings as required.

What we're looking for
  • With a sense of urgency and drive, you'll have demonstrable experience in an administration/executive assistant/PA role in a highly pressurised environment.
  • Tact, judgment and discretion.
  • Understanding the business strategy and priorities is key to enable you to provide a full range of support, exercising confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
  • You will have good interpersonal and influencing skills, essential for dealing with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their contact with the Chief Executive Officer is focussed and meets both needs.
  • You will have extensive diary management skills, working across international time zones, with the ability to prioritise and manage conflicting requirements.
  • Advanced user of MS Office packages and comfortable using new technologies on multiple platforms.
  • Customer focused able to consider the impact of their and others' actions on customers.
  • Naturally inquisitive and open minded you will embrace change.
  • The consummate professional you will gain the confidence and trust of all those you encounter.
  • Working collaboratively, effectively and inclusively with a range of people, both within and outside the business.
