IT Service Desk Analyst

Location: Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 6ET

We are looking for an IT Service Desk Analyst to be part of our friendly IT Service Desk Team. You will be part of a team responsible for providing telephone and remote support for internal customers at head office and remote sites. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service and problem-solving, able to manage their own workload and have excellent communication skills.

The candidate we are looking for will be able to provide expert knowledge and support to our customer base on business applications, software and hardware. They will be skilled in managing the overall resolution of incidents and service requests, including a high first-time percentage fix of received calls.

As part of a supportive and strong knowledgeable Service Desk Team, you will be a key player in completing all aspects of Support and Service Requests for internal customers. You will be experienced in 1st and 2nd line desktop support and be able to complete work via phone and remote support tools. You will be able to follow processes for purchasing new IT Equipment and be responsible for liaising with 3rd party companies where calls cannot be dealt with in-house.

You will have experience in supporting users of all abilities and stakeholders to director level. Providing support on ad-hoc projects. You will be based in our modern, friendly and relaxed office in Macclesfield.

Our Ideal Candidate will:
  • Have a minimum of 1 years' experience working in an IT Helpdesk Environment, specifically with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Desktop solutions
  • Have experience of using ITSM tools and working towards SLA targets
  • Be enthusiastic and a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, displaying high levels of dedication to customer service
  • Show attention to detail in incident recording, control of IT procurement and asset tracking
  • Be patient and have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to make rapid decisions based on information available

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2-week basis, shifts either 08:00 to 16:30 or 08:30 to 17:00
