My client, a successful electrical engineering company based in Stroud, are currently recruiting for an Office Manager to join their close-knit team and provide support to the Managing Director.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and experienced candidate looking for a new opportunity that they can really make their own!

Responsibilities/Duties;

-Welcome visitors

-Buy stationery and office goods

-Buy and serve lunch for working lunches

-Book hotels/B&B for visitors

-Arrange and add meetings and visits on the calendar and diary

-Update backlog with all new PO's

-Send acknowledgements and T&Cs to customers

-Log and file all quotations

-Invoice customers

-Credit collections

-Liaise with customers on deliveries, quality and payment terms

-Organise shipment of samples to customers and suppliers

-Issue all PO's to suppliers

-Track all shipments

-Send all job offers and contract

-Keep personnel files today and up to date

-Record holidays and absence - update shared calendar

-Liaise with the MD on daily diary and week ahead

-Book meetings and reserve venues

Candidate Attributes;

-Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
-Experience in supporting senior management
-Excellent interpersonal skills and flexible/adaptable
-Experience of working in an Engineering/Construction environment is desirable
-Excellent customer service skills

-Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is desirable

Hours - 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible Hours.


Salary -
Up to £25,000
