Internal Sales Executive

The Internal Sales Executive based in Headley and is responsible for selling our Software and Services, and reports to the Internal Sales Supervisor. It will be the Internal Sales Executive role to ensure that all agreed sales targets are met or exceeded.

The Internal Sales Executive will generate new business through direct selling to leads (both provided and sourced), cold calling, conducting sales campaigns and networking with contacts in the industry. This role is based in Birmingham but travel to surrounding areas will be required.

Target restaurants to drive new named sales. Travel is essential as you will be expected to visit current customers and potential clients
Learn and be able to demonstrate all solutions remotely and in person
Lead to sale conversion from existing account referral's
Create, maintain and execute a clear sales plan for daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly sales activity
Support the external sales team when required
Support all internal sales activity
Proactively make outbound calls
The role will require a mixture of office and field-based work
Learn, adopt and adhere to the company sales guidelines. This includes maintaining and developing the Company's CRM database in accordance with company standards and developing accurate, high quality and professional sales documentation and correspondence templates
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company's product portfolio and awareness of competitor products
Maintaining an awareness of industry trends
Assist with devising and implementing lead generation activities, as required. Qualify, develop and manage a lead through to sales conversion, whether sourced or provided by Companies. Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods
Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets
Ensure all monthly sales targets (KPIs) set by management and agreed on in advance are met or exceeded. This will necessitate some or all of the following activities:Identifying the needs and wants of a potential customer
Presenting the Company solution without misrepresentation
Handling objections from potential sales opportunities
Fulfilling reporting requirements to the Sales Manager according to the deadlines set for the Department
Provide excellent customer services to clients over the phone or in person
Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and networks within industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads
Participate in regular team meetings which many involve travelling to other offices
Perform any other duties related to the promotion, sales and delivery of the products, or related third party products, as directed by the management team from time to time.

Either current Restaurant management experience and/or proven experience in a sales role
Relevant professional sales training and experience
Experienced in sales and account management
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills
The ability to build and foster business relationships
Good understanding of technology
A good degree of computer literacy and technical competency.

High degree of self-motivation
Will have a proactive, optimistic, "can do", solutions-driven approach that is both pragmatic and commercially viable
