The successful Account Manager will be tasked with building and maintaining successful relationships with commercial clients. You will be working with new and existing accounts, managing the process from sale through to delivery both remotely and face-to-face. The Account Manager will be working for a progressive and expansive company that has fantastic progression opportunities, open plan offices, company car and fuel card from day one, and a supportive working environment in addition to being market leader in their industry.

The successful Account Manager will have strong rapport building skills and a fantastic phone manner. The Account Manager will be required to organise their own workload and prioritise tasks effectively. A professional, enthusiastic and pro-active work ethic is essential for the successful Account Manager candidate. Previous phone based experience is required and telesales experience is preferable. You must have a valid driving license to apply for the Account Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with customer to obtain the relevant information

- Manage between 60-100 commercial accounts

- Using initiative to identify and follow up opportunities

- Be able to organise, manage and maintain your own desk

- Ability to work in a team and individually

- Calling warm and cold leads with the aim of marketing the companies services on a B2B basis

Essential Skills:

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience of working in a proactive cold calling sales role is desired

- Strong customer service skills

- Team player

- Ability to build and maintain a positive relationship with existing and new clients

- Excellent telephone manner

- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to realistic targets

- Be able to develop new ideas and be able to problem solve different scenarios that arise

- GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent
