Job Description

Green Network Energy is an independent energy and gas supplier in the UK. Our Italian parent company, founded in 2003, is a top 10 Independent energy company in Europe with annual revenues of over €1 billion.

We currently manage a portfolio of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) and our goal is to increase our B2B customers.

ROLE

This opportunity is open to someone without experience, who has recently obtained a university degree and is looking to gain experience in sales and to pursue a career in the energy sector.

This role will be remote working based on regular visits to our customers and further to 6 months training it will be office based - with occasional meetings with our customers. The role requires you to scout potential customers in the UK who might be interested in our Gas and Electricity packages. Initially, you will work as a field sales agent in order to gain the required understanding of the position, market and GNE offers to businesses. You will be trained internally and shadowed during this period, working alongside experienced team members.

You have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, as the role requires describing services to encourage a potential customer to switch with us.

Full training in the Energy sector and sales techniques will be provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Acquire new business customers
  • Meet personal sales targets
  • Forecast sales, develop "out of the box" sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Follow-up progress with new customers, providing relevant information and documents
  • Build rapport with customers and answer their inquiries
