We are looking for an ambitious, successful Commercial Leader from the HVAC and Building Services Industry who would like to take a decisive step into a well-known international group. It's the opportunity to lead the organisation's UK sales operation in all its respects, driving profitable sales growth in the UK and Eire.

This role, in a nutshell, places you at the head of one of the very few HVAC engineering firms on the planet that's trusted to meet the modern-day energy and efficiency challenges that we face in this ever-changing modern world.

Our client is a successful, profitable, privately owned manufacturing company that designs and manufactures high performance products and systems for customers worldwide. They are internationally acclaimed in the HVAC engineering field for designing and manufacturing highly complex products and systems relating to pumps, controls, cooling, heating, valves, fire protection and energy efficiency.

The lead in all this comes directly from the Board, of which you'll be a key member. The role
  • Full profit and loss responsibility for the company's UK-based sales operation, serving the UK and Eire;
  • Personal responsibility for managing and developing key accounts and leading high value bids (from pre-sales discovery to presentation);
  • Responsibility for all UK sales with 5 Sales Managers reporting directly and a team of 28 Area Sales Managers;
  • Strategic responsibility for budgets and growth, 20M +
  • Working with the global management team, contributing to the strategic direction of the business;
  • Technical authority on the company's products and solutions for the region - advising customers as required.

  • Business or engineering degree (or equivalent working knowledge);
  • Impressive industrial sales / sales management record, ideally selling custom components or solutions to major organisations;
  • Intimate knowledge of HVAC Systems and Building Services Market
  • Strong commercial management abilities, including bid preparation, team leadership and key account management;
  • Experience of sales budgeting and forecasting;
  • A clear aptitude for remote management and operating within matric functions;
  • Willingness to travel regularly.
