  • Castleacre is a small, dynamic and growing Insurance Broker.
  • Our offices are at Hadleigh in Suffolk and London.
  • We are looking for a full time Private Client Insurance Broker to be based in Hadleigh. We prefer candidates with about 2 years experience in High Net Worth Broking, but in-house on-the-job training will be given if necessary. You will work closely with our other brokers and the Directors of the company and be an important part of a great team.

  • High Net Worth Client Insurance Broking.
  • Liaison with clients to look after renewals, re-broking, mid-term adjustments which will include administration for claims for existing clients. This will involve preparing submissions to insurers, quotes for clients and coordinating responses, and also answering insurance questions which arise.
  • Assist with new business enquiries for new clients.
  • Working with our other Private Client brokers
  • Working with the accounts side and administration side
  • General office duties relating to your job: scanning, shredding, inputting information onto software, etc. and on a rota making coffee for the team.
  • We will encourage and contribute towards progress through the CII exams and we pay your element of the costs when you pass each exam.
    • Requirements or what we are looking for in you:
    • About 2 years experience and a good level of technical insurance knowledge - definitely keen to learn more
    • Naturally good at attention to detail, deadlines and managing client expectations
    • Willing to go the extra mile for a client
    • Highly organised mindset and responsible attitude to your work
    • Friendly, polite and professional in all communications as there is a high degree of interaction between client and underwriters every day.
    • Computer literate - Word, Excel, Outlook, database management
    • To learn and use our Durell CRM Software system - training provided
    • Fit into and communicate well with the current team, which is small (9) and growing
    • Fit in to our current work practices and maintain our high professional standards
    • Aim for self-sufficiency but willing to ask for help anytime
    • Sense of humour
    • Personal Texts and Phone calls kept to absolute necessities/emergencies
    • HOLIDAYS: 22 days plus more negotiable
    • SALARY: Negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications
    • WORK HOURS: Flexible hours up to 40 hours per week (to include maximum one hour for lunch). No specific start and finish times but will need to work on Fridays.
