Job brief

Part Time - flexible hours (Circa 15-20 hrs per week to start)

Basic + very generous and easily achievable commission

Only due to expansion, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Telesales/Business Development Representative to join our team and generate appointments & new instructions for our company. You will be responsible for contacting potential clients via a mix of in-house generated leads as well as cold calling from presented and self-generated lists. Areas and types of businesses to be contacted will be discussed and targeted each week

You must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills as well as being comfortable presenting our services and costs involved over the phone.

The goal is to assist our company grow by bringing in new clients and developing business in targeted areas.

  • Contact potential vendors to inform them about our service
  • Answer questions about our services, options and costs involved.
  • Ask questions to understand vendors requirements.
  • Direct prospects to the Valuation Representative when needed.
  • Enter and update vendors information on the database
  • Go the "extramile" to meet appointment/new instruction levels
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.

  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about services and describe/explain them to prospects
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Outstanding negotiation skills.
