We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Legal Secretary to join our Liverpool office to work for our patent fee earners in our Liverpool office and remotely in some of our other offices. This position is on a permanent full time basis. Primary responsibilities will include audio typing, the maintenance of fee earners and partners' file due date systems, and the preparation of reports and invoices. In addition to organising completion of the fee earner's workload, the successful candidate will also be required to process correspondence and electronic files. It is also a requirement to complete other general duties and responsibilities commensurate with the position.

The successful candidate will provide secretarial services to the patent fee earners in a support role which shall involve all aspects of secretarial work and will be reporting to a manager. On job training will be given. It is essential that the successful candidate has excellent knowledge of audio typing, has a good typing speed, and has an ILEX or CILEX diploma or Pitman training or any other relevant qualification. It is mandatory to have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and a high attainment of English language including spelling and grammar. While not essential, it is desired that the candidate has 1 years experience as a secretary in a deadline driver legal environment.
