Are you an experienced Commercial Banking Relationship Manager with SME experience across the Midlands? Are you keen to 'give something back' to the community and want to work with an employer that shares your values? If so, we are working with a bank with a true social conscience, one that helps organisations to thrive and contribute to economic, social and community change, to recruit a Relationship Manager for their Commercial Banking team. This is a field-based role in the West Midlands and you will work from home between visits to clients.

The role has been created as a result of expansion and will focus on SME clients in the West Midlands area that are looking to make an economic, social or community impact. Deal values will typically be in the £1m - £2m region. You will acquire, manage and maintain banking relationships in accordance with business plans in place from time to time. You will act as an ambassador for the Bank in the external community by establishing, maintaining and growing relationships with key SME organisations and professional intermediaries to support achievement of the Bank's business objectives.

You will be qualified to at least LIBF Certificate level and will have experience in a similar Relationship Manager role within the commercial banking arena, typically lending up to £10m per transaction. You will have a proven track record of business development, relationship management and commercial lending as well as a strong understanding of credit assessment and analysis. You will have previous experience of working with SME clients and will be able to draw upon an excellent network of such organisations in the West Midlands region.
