Together, we are focused on supporting apprentices and employers through career journeys with expert advice, creativity and passion.

We are looking to expand our dedicated in-house business development division and are seeking to appoint an Apprenticeships & Training Sales Executive to promote and grow our brand, presence and ultimately business across Lancashire and Cumbria area through the promotion of our wide variety of Apprenticeships and training to employers and learners.

This position is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, where you will be working remotely out in the field with employers and learners across the Lancashire and Cumbria regions.

As an Apprenticeships & Training Sales Executive with HIT Training Ltd you will be part of a dedicated national team, reporting into the Director of Sales. As part of that team your primary focus is to promote HIT Training Ltd as the provider of choice across the region, securing relationships with employers and learners, increasing the number of individuals engaged on Apprenticeship and training programmes with us.

Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Generating leads with prospective learners and employers of all sizes, operating across our sectors
  • Following up on leads already generated
  • Meeting with employers and learners face to face
  • Promoting our full range of Apprenticeships and training
  • Consulting with employers on the benefits of training and development
  • Consulting with employers, offering advice and guidance on how strategic and operational challenges can be overcome with training and development
  • Providing consultative advice and guidance on both the Apprenticeship Levy and funding sources available in the area
  • Liaising with regional delivery colleagues, transferring learners onto programme
  • Providing ongoing account management
  • Attending regional networking and marketing events

In return we are offering a highly competitive starting salary between £20,000-£23,000pa plus an uncapped commission scheme relating to the number of new learners signed onto programmes per month, company vehicle scheme after 6 months, along with an enhanced benefits package that truly offers all the bells and whistles!

Do I need any specific experience or qualifications?

To be an Apprenticeships & Training Sales Executive with us, no specific experience is required in either the training and development industry or prior knowledge of any of our delivery sectors. We are keen to hear from candidates who have prior experience working in a similar field based B2B sales role, where you will have been responsible for lead generation and providing consultative advice and guidance through the sales process.
