THE ROLE

As Sales Executive, your role is to sell the benefits of my client's products and services to their existing and potential customers. This will be accomplished through telephone sales and face-to-face meetings. You will be making pro-active outgoing sales calls and attending client meetings, primarily within the primary, secondary and specials schools across the UK.

By working closely with other team members, you will book and deliver remote software demonstrations and attend face to face meetings where you will be expected to deliver high quality presentations. This will be followed by the creation of informative and engaging proposals to ultimately win the business. You will be set revenue and productivity targets and KPI's in line with the company's objectives which will be communicated monthly through the Sales Manager.

ABOUT YOU

You are an intelligent, confident and career focussed individual who has demonstrated that they excel within a high energy sales environment. You are positive by nature and a natural communicator who enjoys speaking with people, but also understands that listening is key component of successful selling. You must be comfortable with software applications and social media and be able to demonstrate the benefits of our products in a concise and logical fashion.

You are an excellent team player, passionate about winning and you work well under pressure. You will hold a full, preferably clean, driving licence and be prepared on occasion to work outside of normal working hours when required to attend meetings and events.

    * To be able to demonstrate the functionality and benefits of their technology
    * To represent themn professionally and positively in face to face meetings
    * To work closely with other members of the team to create and deliver a proposal to each customer
    that meets their specific requirements.
    * To make recommendations on and actively follow up marketing activities
    * To be able to effectively demonstrate the benefits of all their products and services
    * To be confident in negotiating prices and packages
    * To be able to liaise and work effectively alongside other departments within the business
    * To keep abreast of, and understand the markets in which my client operates

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • To manage pipelines to ensure sales revenue targets as set by your line manager are achieved
    * To make the required number of outbound activities per day as set by your line manager
    * To carry out both remote and face to face demonstrations of their technology
    * To attend meetings and events as and when required
    * To ensure all written correspondence is professional, accurate and grammatically correct
    * To ensure product knowledge is always up to date
    * To keep the company's CRM system up to date and process data in line with our policies
    * To maximise the sales potential from each prospective and existing customer
    * To maintain excellent working relationships with all departments within the business
