Product Manager - M&S (Greetings Cards)

About the role: 

Understanding your retailer and their unique shopper needs, you’ll develop products identifiable with the brand, customer and channel. From Gift Wrap, Occasion Cards and Accessories you use the overall product framework to create a unique range architecture for the coming seasons. 


- Developing SKU (card) level brief with creative. 
- Developing excellent Shopper and consumer understanding to inform product development. 
- Effectively managing to the critical date path. 
- Ensuring cost control and value for money delivery. 

About you: 

A seasoned multi-tasker, who is well versed in product development and passion about delivering great product solutions, you’ll: 

- Have previous experience of New Product Development, ideally within a FMCG sector. Greetings card industry experience specifically would be a distinct advantage. 
- Have a full understanding of product engineering and costing, from idea generation, competitor and sales analysis through to product launch. 
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with people with varying agenda and levels of authority. 
- Be a creative thinker with a continuous improvement mentality. 
- Be resilient and comfortable with managing ambiguity.
