SCCS Survey Equipment Ltd are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team, this role will work closely with our Accountant based in our Eaton Socon Head Office . You will join us on a Part time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. Key Responsibilities as our Finance Assistant will include: - Credit checking and setting up new customer ledger accounts - Downloading bank statements and posting supplier payments - Purchase Ledger tidy /reconciliations - Preparation and reporting of sales figures to Group - Preparation of customer dashboard reports - Analysis of general ledger accounts - Intercompany reporting - Month end journal preparation: - Deferred revenue and costs - Late sales invoices and credits - Late purchase invoices and credits - Trial balance check and month end reporting - Answering and dealing with finance calls - Part of the external calls phone rota - Other ad hoc work as required by the Accountant and Finance Manager - Holiday cover as required for others in the Finance Department - Support for year end processes and statutory audit Experience required to become our Finance Assistant: - 2 years previous experience in a similar role - Strong IT skills intermediate Microsoft Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables and formulas) - Working knowledge of Sage Line 50 desirable To join us as our Finance Assistant please click 'apply' today - we'd love to hear from you!
