Are you an aspiring HR Advisor with a genuine passion for enabling our business to achieve ambitious goals?

We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our well-respected business partnering team. You will already have generalist HR and administration experience along with a high standard of communication and time management skills, all key to success in this busy and rewarding role.

As an integral member of the HR team of Cambridge Assessment, you will be based in our Cambridge Assessment English division, supporting the delivery of professional and comprehensive HR services across a wide range of areas including recruitment administration and on-boarding, performance management, and employee relations.

Working collaboratively and proactively with line managers and their teams you will provide first line advice on issues such as contract variations, flexible working, and maternity and paternity leave. You'll also be contributing to the development of policy and processes and working with HR systems to interpret and produce data and metrics, as well as supporting the HR team with generalist HR administration.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to group-wide initiatives, networks and projects

We will support your professional development, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law, best practice and company policy to help maintain the effectiveness of HR service delivery across Cambridge Assessment.

The successful candidate will need to:
  • Hold, or willing to work towards, a CIPD level 5 qualification, which can be supported by Cambridge Assessment
  • have experience working in HR administration and/or have experience of working in a generalist HR capacity
  • be computer literate with knowledge of HR information systems - experience of SuccessFactors would be an advantage.
  • Be confident in working with on-line systems in the production and reporting of data and metrics.
  • Experience of working in an international business would be an advantage
