Governance Executive (Project Co-ordination / Planning)

Position: Governance Executive

About the role: 

This exciting new role will see you help establish and implement a new way of working through Hallmark. The main point of contact for Mission Control you will guide internal stakeholders through the relevant procedures, as well as documenting, reporting and highlighting any risks and impacts along the way. You main responsibilities will include: 

- Tracking, reporting and mitigating risks for activities impacting business priorities and major projects. 
- Understanding and influencing lead times for the key dependencies impacting on delivering an Activity / Priority / Project on time, in full to cost. 
- Proactively managing milestone achievement and highlighting variances from plan including potential impacts (costs) to relevant stakeholders. 
- Interacting on a technical level to understand and influence issues to help resolve them. 
- Meeting management, recording and driving outputs. 
- Collaborate with Project Leads to ensure alignment on milestones and risks. 
- Report writing for Internal Stakeholders up to Board Level. 
- Collating relevant documentation associated with activities coming through Mission Control. 

About you: 

Comfortable with procedures and data, you’ll use your confidence and knowledge to influence stakeholders across the business, including and up to Executive Director level. This is a new role and we’re looking to you to help us on our journey. You’ll be keen to progress and always looking to make improvements to your area of responsibility. In addition, we’re looking for you to demonstrate: 

- Exceptional problem solving skills and experience of influencing others. 
- A sense of urgency and ability to deal with ambiguity positively. 
- Courage and confidence to “manage upwards”, comfortable having difficult conversations. 
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
- Previous experience of using forecasting and scheduling skills. 
- Extensive reporting and analytical skills. 
- Ability to focus on ‘What Matters’. 
- Confidence in presenting.
