Are you a Sales Engineer or an Engineer looking to move towards business development? Do you have a background in control systems or supply of high end technical equipment into FMCG or other forms of manufacturing?

Select Technical have been asked by a leading Control Systems manufacturer in East Anglia to find an experienced Sales Engineer preferably with a background in control system's to join them to set up a brand new business development team. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly expanding manufacturer as they look to increase turnover with a solid 5 year plan.

This role comes with a company car and the opportunity to based remotely but with weekly visits to the office in Norfolk. Ideally you will be on the road meeting new or old clients helping to bring in new business, As well as be able to do the initial concept drawings and costings before passing back to the dedicated design team for more detailed technical drawings. This is a great role for someone with the right attitude who wants to see a team and business build around them, Does this sound like you?

You will be responsible for:

* Lead generation
* Initial concept design
* Client management
* Working closely with production and purchasing to forecast material availability in line with business needs.

To be considered for the role of Control Systems Sales Engineer you will ideally have experience working in electrical/electronic control solutions either within sales or design. You will have a keen eye for detail, be able to handle large amounts of data, be happy working in a fast paced environment, be a strong communicator but more importantly have the right attitude.
