Network Rail Route Businesses E&W plans, operates and maintains the railway day-to-day.

We are looking for a number of Asset Engineers to join our Geotechnics teams  in Birmingham and/or Manchester. In this exciting opportunity, you will lead the requirements for examination, and undertake evaluation, assessment and risk management of Geotechnics assets across the region.

 You will get the chance to support the production of route asset management and investment plans. As an Asset Engineer, you will also get to:

  • Direct the implementation of monitoring systems and undertake the review of the results
  • Support the development of asset strategies and investment plans
  • Provide engineering input to the specification and management of examination contracts
