Programme Officer - Faculty Life Sciences & Medicine/ Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience

We currently have opportunities for part-time Programme Officers at our Guy’s Campus at London Bridge, and our Denmark Hill Campus. 

The salary will be paid at Grade 4, £28,271 to £31,330 per annum pro rata inclusive of £3,500 per annum pro rata London Allowance.

Flexible-working:

The first post is in our Faculty of Life Sciences and Medicine Education Support Service, and is 14 hours per week, ideally delivered on Thursday and Friday from 9 to 5, but other work patterns may be considered. 

The second post is available in the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, based at Guy’s Campus, consisting 17.5 hours per week. The role is currently 9-5 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9-12:30 on Thursday mornings, and again, there may be some flexibility in this. 

About the role: 

As a Programme Officer you will be on the front-line of service delivery, supporting students and academics and the delivery of our academic programmes. Programme Officers are the first point of contact for face-to-face queries, on the phone or via electronic media, and are responsible for undertaking core activities essential to the delivery of services underpinning the student lifecycle.

With knowledge of regulations and processes and an eye for accuracy and detail, the Programme Officer plays an essential role in ensuring that the student lifecycle activities run for students and staff in a seamless and effective manner.
