If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced internal communications specialist who is interested in a new challenge within our rapidly transforming organisation. This role will sit within the Internal Communications and Employee Experience team and work closely with our network of internal communicators across Cambridge Assessment.

As an expert in your field, you will act as a trusted adviser and have day-to-day responsibility for managing and improving our internal communication programme, channels and content. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of exciting projects to facilitate positive cultural change, bring our values to life and build a truly inclusive and collaborative place to work.

What we're looking for

Alongside your outstanding communication skills and well-developed understanding of what drives engagement and culture, you will be a natural multi-tasker with your finger on the pulse when it comes to best practice and innovation. In particular, your written communication skills will be of the highest standard.

Ideally, you will have a background of at least three years in an internal communications management role working in a multi-site/international organisation, with demonstrable experience of:

  • developing and implementing internal communications and employee engagement strategies and plans
  • delivering results through stakeholder management, especially at a senior leadership/C-suite level
  • producing engaging communications, employee events and campaigns which help to inspire performance and connect employees to the bigger picture
  • developing and managing a broad mix of digital and traditional communication channels
  • end-to-end project management, including working with and managing relationships with third party partners
  • delivering change/transformation communications
  • working within cross-functional project teams as a trusted communications advisor and implementer
  • communicating, influencing, and building partnerships at all levels within an organisation
  • line management responsibility with a track record of enabling and developing colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
  • CIPD, CIPR or IOIC qualification would be desirable.
