Administration Coordinator - Adult Skills

West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds

Permanent, part time 26 hours per week

SALARY £16,639.61 - £17,770.21 pro rata (£ 23,679.45 - £25,288.38 FTE) depending on experience

The Adult Skills and employability department are searching for a dynamic and passionate Administration Co-ordinator to join their team.

They are looking for someone with experience of leading and or coordinating a team of busy administrators across learning centres and workplaces. Also, with considerable experience in Adult education with a knowledge of Adult Education funding. Role Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate Adult Skills provision across the College including LLC's and in the workplace.
  • Performance manage a team of administrators.
  • Contribute to the delivery of College business plans relevant to the area of work.
  • Support new members of the team to receive a full and meaningful induction.
  • Ensure that the learner journey meets all College Quality assurance procedures across the College and LLC's.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
  • Educated to NVQ Business Admin 3 or equivalent
  • High level administrative and organisational skills.
  • Competent in the use of IT.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Postholder must have access to a car and hold a current driving licence.
  • Experience working in a busy office prioritising a large workload.
  • Flexible and responsive.
  • Able to engage positively with staff at all levels across the College as well as a wide range of students including students where English is not their first language.
  • Experience of working with employers.
  • Supervisory experience.
