DExEU is offering a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the G6 leadership team. The role offers you the opportunity to help shape the departmental HR offer, to lead on a significant proportion of the HR work programme, and to build and lead the wider HR team.
Reporting into the HR Deputy Director for Expert Services, the post holder will lead on:
Strategic Workforce Planning; Resourcing; Talent; Performance; Wellbeing and Diversity; many of which are top priorities for the Department’s senior leadership.
This is a wide portfolio and you will be expected to lead through others, motivating and supporting your team to work flexibly in response to changing priorities and effectively to achieve good business outcomes in all of these areas.
The post holder will be an experienced HR professional, able to work well with complexity and in a highly ambiguous environment. They also need to be a creative thinker, focused on finding the right solution at pace and having the confidence to adjust and learn as they go.
In this role it is critical to be able to work across a broad range of strands, prioritising based on business need while remaining calm and focused. Being a strong team-player will be a vital part of this role as the successful candidate will take a leading role in developing the HR team and helping to develop a positive, supportive and inclusive culture.
