Job Title: Administrator, Assessment Processing

Contract: Full-time, Permanent X 3

Salary: £19,600 - £24,500

Location: Cambridge

What it's about

An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Administrators, based within Assessment Processing in OCR Operations. These are flexible skills-based roles that contribute to the efficient and accurate administration and despatch of OCR Results as well as assisting in a range of tasks that follows the exams processing cycle.

What you'll be doing

The work could involve any of the following activities:
  • Data entry and the associated quality checking
  • Producing, maintaining and executing relevant tasks associated with the exam processing cycle
  • Support of all assessment processing tasks when needed
  • Supervising temporary staff in peak processing weeks
  • Involvement with the on-going review and enhancement of our systems and processes
  • Provide data to support management reports
  • Dealing with administrative enquiries direct from examination centres and customers.

  • Numeracy - is able to interpret data comfortably.
  • Literacy skills


Skills
  • Decision-making - able to apply knowledge of role and area in order to make sound business
    decisions and escalate where appropriate.
  • Communication - explain ideas clearly and fluently in writing and verbally.
  • IT - able to use software packages to produce appropriate materials.
  • Accurate with data when using Microsoft Excel and Word, or other internal systems.


Experience
  • OCR's processing systems - must understand the cause and effect of processing steps.
  • Specifications - must understand the structure, business rules and the regulatory context that govern their operation.
