£25,000 - £27,000

Our client is a well established independent financial planning practice who, due to their ongoing growth, has an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Paraplanner to join team.

Working out of their offices based in Huddersfield, you will be supporting the Financial Planners in preparing client financial plans, reports, researches and analysis; whilst ensuring that the preparation of advice for clients is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking analysis and proposing solutions for individual clients
  • Compilation of research material for individual clients
  • Obtain illustrations/quotes for all new business, together with supporting literature
  • Liaison with clients*, providers and consultants to obtain required information
  • Problem solving on complex cases
  • Report writing, ensuring that all compliance matters are covered in the suitability report
  • Handling on-going servicing queries on behalf of the advisers
  • Establishing and maintaining files and records and ensuring outstanding data requirements are followed up
  • Telephone answering as and when required
  • To meet and greet customers and insurance representatives as and when required

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience working within Financial Planning - preferably within an Independent Financial Services environment and ideally you will be Diploma qualified or working towards the Level 4 qualification, but this is not essential. What is essential is that you are passionate and dedicated to a career in wealth management as well as having solid communication and articulations skills.
