About us

Hampshire County Council arranges domiciliary care (care at people’s homes) for over 4,500 number residents and our primary providers are the preferred domiciliary care providers when arranging services of care. Through this arrangement care workers benefit from better working conditions, paid travel expenses as well as building a career in care.

The role

Our primary providers make it possible for people who need care or support to maintain independence in the comfort of their own home.

  • You will support clients with everyday tasks such as getting into and out of bed, washing, bathing and dressing, preparing food, prompting medication, home help and running errands such as shopping and cleaning and most importantly providing companionship.
  • You will work with a range of interesting people including older people, or people who may have a learning disability, physical disability or mental health issue.
  • There is also a variety of roles available and plenty of chances for career progression.
