Rushcliffe Borough Council are looking for a Technical Officer to join their team in Nottingham.

Job Title: Technical Officer (Housing Grants)

Salary: £20,472 - £27,273 per annum

Location: Nottingham
Hours: 37 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen within the Environmental Health Service for a dynamic individual to work in a forward-thinking service with a great reputation.

Technical Officer - The Role:

A principal responsibility of this role is to carry out the administration of Disabled Facilities Grants on behalf of the Council. This will include the completion of site visits, making assessments of eligibility for grant aid, drawing up schedules of work, liaising with Occupational Therapists, carrying out inspections of adaptations at various stages. You will also be expected to work with other Grants Officers in the validation of cases at various stages and also the maintaining of our in-house database.

Technical Officer - Experience:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised individual with office experience, good ICT skills and good attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and be part of an effective team delivering a quality service to our customers.
