Job Title: Product Marketing Manager

Contract: 12 months fixed term, Part-time - 14 hours per week (Wednesday-Friday)

Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 (pro rata)

Location: Cambridge

What it's about

The Product Marketing Manager position is a key role to support the implementation of the marketing strategy of the Schools sector for Cambridge Assessment English. The role will work closely with the Marketing Strategy Manager, Product Managers and other marketing professionals both in Cambridge and globally, to develop and deliver product focused marketing activities as well as to manage key projects. The role provides an opportunity to join a high performance and fun team working in a fast-paced global environment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Work closely with the Marketing Strategy Manager to ensure the marketing strategy is implemented across key markets.
  • Work closely with Senior Marketing Communications Manager to lead on product-focused marketing initiatives and activities from concept and briefing through to implementation, delivery, launch and project review.
  • Work cross-functionally on projects with relevant teams including: marcomms, recognition, brand, PR, events and key contacts from around the world.
  • Work with the Marketing Project Coordinator to set and monitor projects based on set deadlines.
  • Work with Product Managers to manage projects related to new product launches and improvements based on product roadmaps including producing launch packs, customer presentations, fact sheets, etc.
  • Use market intelligence, product knowledge, competitor analysis and customer data analysis to inform marketing activity briefs and consult on projects as the product expert.
  • Provide marketing support for training of products/services to ensure business development teams worldwide have the necessary tools to sell and promote our products.
  • Produce, manage and update product case studies, testimonials, quotes, articles and blogs, presentations, product marketing messages and benefits etc.promoting our products across all marketing channels.
  • Produce relevant communications to inform the wider organisation on new developments and marketing initiatives.


What we're looking for
  • We are looking for a Marketing professional who is passionate about ensuring the best customer experience for our customers
  • You will have experience of managing projects from concept through to delivery and review
  • You will have an interest in working on improving customer journeys, product marketing and global education.
  • You will be commercially driven and able to analyse and use data to contribute to the product/sector strategies and marketing briefs, working autonomously and within a team.
  • You will be both creative and proactive in generating ideas and successfully completing set projects to set deadlines
  • You will be a strong communicator, able to develop relationships with colleagues and partners and work collaboratively across functions within the business
  • You will be comfortable working with variety of stakeholders including senior management
