The Sales Executive's responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:
  • Identify clients/contacts/market segments to target and generate leads
  • Proactively seek and identify new potential clients and new business opportunities for further account development
  • Account manage and grow existing client accounts to maximise revenue
  • Work with agencies to make appointments both on-site and off-site
  • Targeted expectations of 5+ appointments/showrounds per week
  • Showrounds of the venue will include potential corporate and wedding clients, therefore weekend work is required on a regular basis.
  • Increase market share and revenue by identifying and securing new opportunities and business through networking events, FAM trips, client visits and representing Ashridge House at trade shows
  • Generate leads using social media tools including Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn
  • Maintain strong sales pipeline through call management, lead generation and effective relationship building
  • Develop and deepen relationships with booking agencies and clients to raise the profile of Ashridge House and deliver potential volume clients
  • Prepare accurate and attractive proposals for corporate events, private functions & weddings
  • Negotiate contractual terms with clients and get sign off to secure business
  • Maximise revenue through upselling and up-sell other Ashridge products and services, such as facilitation, keynote speakers, experiential learning, Virtual Ashridge, etc.
  • Liaise with hospitality teams across the business prior to and during the delivery of events
  • Keep up to date with competitors and market trends, and communicate this back to the Sales Team
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, following up post event to secure further business and follow up payments when necessary

  • Excellent telephone sales skills

  • Knowledge of the MICE market
  • Full driving license and car is essential as travelling will be required as the business demands
