We are now recruiting for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Adviser Support team on a permanent basis.

The role

As the Sales Support Specialist you will support the field based sales team, ensuring all critical actions are completed in a timely manner. You will foster and strengthen relationships with existing advisers and their staff as well as providing immediate needs Transact Online (TOL) assistance to all of our clients, including advisers, Discretionary Investment Managers (DIMs), investors and networks.

Other responsibilities include:

Sales Support
  • Recognising, qualifying and forwarding sales leads to the field based sales team.
  • Undertaking regulatory checks on our adviser community, such as the "no longer authorised" report.
  • Supporting advisory professionals, DIMs and investors via our Live Chat and Co-Browse functions.
  • Keeping financial adviser's information up to date including change of address, bank details and company names.
  • Assisting with the coordination and the attending of the Transact regional adviser events, conferences and award ceremonies.
  • Understanding in detail, the DIM proposition on Transact, so that you can support any new business queries from advisory professionals and also be the point of contact for our DIM users. This includes having a detailed understanding of MiFID II DIM reporting requirements.

Administration
  • Creating and maintaining new adviser firms, advisers, secondary users, DIMs, Networks, Appointed Representatives, Trading Styles and Remote Data Service companies.
  • Creating and unlocking passwords and sending out password letters to our users to enable them to log in to TOL.
  • Completing adviser and DIM Due Diligence questionnaires
  • Producing MI for the Sales Team and Management
  • Dealing with literature requests from advisers and their staff.

Requirements

The Sales Support Specialist role would be ideal for someone who has previous sales support experience providing assistance to a field based business development team ideally within financial services. Experience working with wrappers and investments such as Pensions, ISA's, Unit Trusts, Bonds, and OEICS is essential for this role. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with financial advisers. Ideally you will be working towards the CISI Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) qualification or similar.
