Our client is one of Northern Ireland's leading Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory practices who continue to expand their Internal Audit team within their Belfast office. We are a forward thinking practice with a burgeoning client base, including some of Ireland's most progressive businesses, due to their reputation for delivering excellence. The Internal Audit department is at the heart of this practice which believes that it is with close involvement and regular interaction with their clients that a true understanding of their business needs can be appreciated and therefore focused on. To further build upon these strong relationships they are currently seeking to appoint an Internal Audit Supervisor (Recently Qualified) within the team.

Your new role
You will report to the Senior Management team and will be the 'on the ground' lead for a number of the firm's clients, filling a pivotal role between the client and the practice. Assist with the management of client relationships/expectations and delivery of quality. Planning and completing a range of assignments, meeting reporting and completion deadlines. Assisting with the management, coaching & development of junior team members including reviewing their work, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
Active involvement and contribution to the overall department. Planning and project managing all aspects of internal audit engagements. Liaising with clients throughout the internal audit process.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified Accountant or Auditor through ACA / ACCA / CIIA with demonstrable internal audit experience. Internal Audit experience and a track record of delivering planning, fieldwork and completion stages of internal audit assignments. An ability to produce quality reports and work under pressure and to tight deadlines. A capability to organise and manage workload and time efficiently. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted and lasting relationships with clients. A proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
