We have vacancies for Registered Nurses (Mental Health or Learning Disability) within HMP Berwyn. We have full and part time hours available and we support family friendly, and other flexible hours.

For our HMP Berwyn roles, this will be an experience like no other, requiring a mix of nursing skills from a range of professional specialist areas, such as Community Outreach, Liaison and Forensic Services. We are now looking to expand our provision of community nursing within the prison to provide a seven-day service. This is a unique opportunity to complement our existing, integrated Health and Wellbeing Team.

  • If you are not currently working as a registered nurse, but wish to return to practice we can offer you a three month part time Return to Practice Course to make the transition.

And when you are not working, you can roam the mountains of Snowdonia, surf off the beaches of Anglesey, or browse the shops in nearby Chester. Liverpool and Manchester airports are nearby too.
