Full Time
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides services through its three hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester. We provide all general hospital services for planned and emergency care as well as specialist services.

A fantastic development opportunity has become available to support our Nursing team in caring for private patients throughout their patient pathway. You will work in the Candover Outpatient Clinic where we deliver high quality care and treatment for our patients. Exemplary customer care is integral to our service.

This role is open to newly qualified nurses supported by a great preceptorship programme. We pride ourselves on having an environment where your development matters.

You will be part of a friendly and supportive team in the Outpatients Candover Clinic and working closely with the Inpatient ward, the Candover Suite. We are developing a bespoke competency framework that will ensure structured development in the band 5 role and allow planning for career progression. We work closely with the education team to ensure continued team development.

The care is Consultant delivered, and therefore close working relationships with the Consultant team are essential. We also work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist teams to ensure high quality, evidence based care is delivered to all our patients.

The Candover Clinic is a modern outpatient facility with consultant rooms, treatment rooms, MRI, ultrasound and x-ray facilities.

The Candover Suite environment has been created to promote optimal recovery in a luxurious setting. The suite is made up of 22 individual rooms each with en-suite facilities.

Because our private patient unit is unique, in that it remains part of Hampshire Hospital Foundation Trust, the NHS terms and conditions apply to our employees. Funds generated by the Trust's private patient unit are used to support NHS services.

The NHS terms and conditions include
  • Flexible working opportunities - depending on your role, there may be opportunities to work from home, for part-time working, term-time contracts and annualised hours
