As a Lead Trainer Coach, your role is to motivate, inspire and encourage fellow Trainer Coaches through the sharing of ideas, information, advice and guidance. We want to see a team of Trainer Coaches who share IAG and take responsibility for the curriculum, learners and clients in their sector/s. The Lead's role is to an environment of togetherness for their team, leading and supervising the Trainer Coaches to deliver absolute excellence. You will have a cohort of learners and through quality practices and relationship, you will ensure learners are empowered to craft their own learning journey, remain motivated, and meet their objectives and plans.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Personal development plans for each learner in line with the client's learning and development strategy
  • Engage and build a strong relationship with the learner, line managers and workplace mentors
  • Take responsibility to monitor and support your learners through their apprenticeships from enrolment and to completion of their learning journey
  • Deliver teaching and learning in group workshops, in 1-2-1 sessions and in remote learning sessions utilising modern systems with flare and creativity
  • Stay up to date with industry practices and work closely with the awarding organisations (AOs) and End Point Assessment Organisations (EPAOs) to ensure the organisation and learners are kept up to date
  • Keep up to date with curriculum, standards and apprenticeship developments
  • Manage, monitor and administrate your e-Learning systems, ensuring an accurate audit trail with each learner, capturing contact and progression, and support peers to deliver best administrative practice
  • Support and embed English, maths and ICT teaching and learning within the programmes you deliver, promoting and encouraging use of e-Learning
  • Develop resources and plan new innovative ways of engaging learner in the delivery models
  • Working collaboratively with peers to share best practice, leading on standardisation and supporting the Quality Assurance team with observations
  • Actively support, seek and engage in new business opportunities
  • Engage in Team Around the Learner (TAL) and participate in team meetings
  • Provide excellent and impactful feedback and IAG
  • Communicate horizontally, vertically and across the organisation with integrity
  • Take on feedback from the Internal Quality Assurer and the Quality Manager to ensure that your own practice and that of your Trainer Coaches continues to be exemplary
  • Attend business development meetings with clients and lead on communication between our clients and Train Together where required.

  • Take ownership of your CPD and seek opportunities for personal and professional development.

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • The applicant should hold the assessor qualifications (CAVA or equivalent)
  • Hold or be working towards Level 6 in Education and Training or equivalent
  • Hold a Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Hold an Information, advice and guidance qualification at level 2 (IAG)
  • Hold GSCEs A*-C grade or equivalent (e.g. Level 2 English and Maths Functional Skills)
  • Management qualification would be advantageous
  • Coaching and Mentoring Level 5 qualification would be advantageous
  • Qualifications in Careers guidance and Safeguarding and Prevent Level 2 + (desirable)
  • Demonstrate experience leading and supervising a team
  • A good understanding of holistic planning and assessment is necessary
  • Professional occupational experience within the above areas with evidence of recent CPD
  • Demonstration of your ability to develop curriculum and resources is essential
  • Demonstrate leading on standardisation and evidence of contributing to the CPD of staff
  • Experience of End Point Assessment would be desirable
  • Must hold a full clean driving license and willing to travel nationally when required
