We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to make their mark and join our highly professional team based in Raynes Park as the Centre Manager.

Part time or full time (ideally 4 or 5 days per week, hours to be mutually agreed).

Location: Raynes Park, South West London

The Centre Manager is integral to the smooth operation of our business and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of managing a busy office environment. Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will be responsible for managing the team who administer the CIPD qualifications, Apprenticeships, CMI and support candidates during their programme life cycle. You will also be a key point of contact and support for the sales, marketing and finance teams. The role requires a diverse skill set and ability to juggle priorities on a daily basis.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Manage the Centre Management Team; delegating and supervising workloads and ensuring resources are allocated to meet the needs of the business.
  • Assist with activities such as recruitment, new starter induction, holidays and office cover etc.
  • Manage the administration of all candidates, including start up process, workshop joining instructions and processes to help them keep on track.
  • Prepare candidate completion documentation, which requires 100% accuracy, and send to the Awarding Body.
  • Coordinate and prepare documentation for Awarding Bodies' Quality Assurance visits and Ofsted inspections
  • Prepare agendas, reports, presentation and take notes for Team Meetings and Director Meetings (quarterly).
  • Prepare and circulate fortnightly communications to the Watson Martin team.
  • Support Head of Delivery and remote team to ensure programmes run smoothly.
  • Support sales team, as required, answering enquiries from prospective candidates to enable them to make an informed choice regarding their preferred learning style and appropriate programme.

  • Previous experience of managing and motivating a team in a busy office environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organisational, time-management and administrative skills along with great attention to detail
  • Advanced IT skills
  • Friendly, confident and engaging personality
  • Excellent written and verbal skills which enable effective communication with people at all levels
  • Great work ethic and a can do attitude
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking skills
