City of Wolverhampton College is looking for an Business Lecturer to join the team in Wolverhampton . The role is a permanent position, you will work variable hours ( hours per week - Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and in return you will receive a competitive salary (Unqualified -£ & Qualified - £ per hour) The Business Lecturer role: - To deliver excellent learning experiences and opportunities for our students - To deliver teaching on a range of programmes which could be on any premises whether the College carries out it's business - To take a leading role to ensure the recruitment, retention and achievement of our students - To maintain and effectively use data to inform the College's improvement strategy - To contribute toward the pastoral care of students and the added value via enrichment activities - Supporting the College's work with Employers Key responsibilities of our Business Lecturer will include: - To place student welfare and achievement at the heart of all your work - To provide student guidance and advice - To take part in student induction - To produce student reports as and when required - To attend student/parent consultation and provide appropriate advice and guidance As our Business Lecturer you'll need: - Teaching Qualification DTLLS, Cert Ed., or PGCE or currently working towards. - Key Skills Level 2 in Literacy and Level 2 in Numeracy or equivalent - An appropriate level of qualification in the subject area - Must be able to teach to HNC/HND level - Suitable experience and/or the capacity to design and deliver teaching and learning or training - Delivery of embedding English & Maths skills, equality & diversity alongside the main programme Closing Date: 4th October 2019 So if you would like to join our team as a Business Lecturer then please click ' apply ' today, we'd love to hear from you!
