We are looking to recruit a band 2 Activity Coordinator who has a passion for enabling adults with mental health issues to engage in activities, on an in-patient ward.

We need someone who can work autonomously and has knowledge, drive and motivation for working within mental health. The role will be focused on providing activity based interventions and partnership working, contributing to the delivery of an evidenced based inpatient service by working with the multi-disciplinary team, other service providers, service users, carers and families, to provide an effective client centered service.

You will have the opportunity to work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team which includes nursing, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, medics and psychology. The service offers peer support, professional development, personal development reviews and supervision, both clinical and managerial.

You will be expected to be flexible within your working approach and delivery, in response to service user needs. This will include weekend and evening work.
