We are looking for a Corporate Membership Manager to ensure that members maintain their membership, with a secondary goal of looking for opportunities to grow our relationships with existing and new members.

You will be asked to build out the current processes to ensure that there is a clear plan, shared with the corporate members, about how they can engage with the organisation during the year, including chances to speak at events, contribute items to the newsletter, be interviewed for the podcast, get assistance with their own events and introductions to other members.

You should have a good understanding of the needs of growing and established businesses working in data, analytics in finance or insurance. You will need to be able to create strong relationships across multiple organisations at different levels, and be able to build and implement a strategy to demonstrate the value to corporate members.

In addition, you will be responsible for exploring and contributing to the development of a knowledge base that draws on information about our members that they wish to share.

The organisation is a fast-growing events, marketing and consulting business. They bring together companies and people with an interest in data, analytics and new technology in and around insurance.

As a result of growth, and strong revenues in 2019, we need someone to join in a full-time role to build and oversee the corporate members. As part of the fast-growing company this role offers the chance to put your own mark on the organisation and define your own career path.

  • Onboarding of new corporate members (welcome email, contracts, identifying key people)
  • Managing engagement for news items, speaking opportunities, members events etc.
  • Definition and refinement of corporate member and individual member offering, working with marketing to maximise appeal and exposure of membership.
  • Maintaining high satisfaction of members as measured by KPIs which you will design and measure
  • Gaining referrals and testimonials from members
  • Supporting partners and sales team in identification of new members
  • Working with our marketing team to ensure good visibility and exposure for our corporate members that are speaking at events
  • Informal and structured survey of members to understand their needs
  • Attendance at evening events and other meetings
  • Annual billing of membership renewals

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent education/working experience
  • Significant experience working with customers from multiple companies in technology or financial services/insurance businesses
  • Passion for tech and innovation
  • Demonstrated experience and success in building processes and systems and leading projects for fast-growing companies
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, strong project management skills, attention to detail and a desire to improve processes
  • Commercially driven
