If you have a love for fitness and have experience in Digital Sales this could be a great role for you to combine both!

Opportunity to join a growing media publication company who have many well-known titles to their name, ones of which focus on fitness and wellbeing.

You will be reporting to the Business Development Director where you will be responsible for maximizing digital and other revenue products within the portfolio. This will be through development of new business and retention of current client base.

You will have ideally worked in a media or advertising sales role previously where you will have been confident in speaking to new and existing clients, building relationships and being a reliable and hardworking representative of the company. You will have a full driving licence and your own transport as client visits to London and weekly travel to their office in Ashford, Kent will be required.

Responsibilities include;
  • Responsible for the management and growth of an existing business customer base in line with revenue and volume targets set.
  • Maintain contact with key decision makers within your client base, adhering to the agreed contact plan.
  • Occasional visits to customers, trade shows, events, as the title and client requires
  • Canvassing and closing of new business in line with revenue and volume targets set out by your line manager
  • Proactive retention of any cancelling business
  • Ensure all agreed activity and performance KPI's are reached within the agreed timeframes
  • Mentoring of new employees as and when required
  • A working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ideally Google Analytics and other digital reporting tools.
  • Monitor incoming cancellation requests and liaise with your line manager and the client to minimize losses
  • Proactively account manage; developing strong relationships and keeping clients up to date with initiatives
  • Manage client queries in a swift and professional manner, liaising with all relevant people as and when required to ensure a solution is reached and any credits raised
  • Ensure all clients scheduled to resign their contract are contacted within an acceptable timeframe to reduce the threat of a cancellation or lapsed business
