Contract: Part Time/Permanent Site: Queen Katharine Academy Hours: hours per week, start time , finish time varies. 39 weeks per annum (term time plus 1 week) Salary: Grade 4, Point 18 £13, per annum (FTE £18,870) Closing date: 22 November 2018 Start date: ASAP The Role Our client is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work closely with class teachers to ensure students are able to make excellent progress. The role will be to support students of all abilities in whole class, small group and individual settings. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the local and national learning strategies, required to enhance literacy and numeracy and will be able to follow Academy policies to effectively manage pupil behaviour. The Person You will •Have relevant experience of working in a secondary school. •Have Maths and English GCSE's A* - C (or equivalent) •Have the ability to form strong relationships with students and colleagues across the Academy. •Have strong numeracy and literacy skills.
