Working for an innovative and forward thinking technology company based in Emerson's Green, you'll be providing hands on support to the senior management team helping them to make decisions that drive the commercial agenda.

As a result of ongoing expansion they are looking for a management accountant to join their small and busy accounts team.

Ideally, you will be a part or newly qualified accountant (ACCA/CIIMA) with excellent engagement skills, confidence and comfortable working in a fast paced, busy environment.

Reporting to the finance manager you will be responsible for generating and maintaining essential key business and financial reports and assist with the account preparation for month end.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, analysis and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the collection of cash when issues require escalation and monitor cash flow.
  • Process journal uploads in a timely manner and ensure complete recording of costs.
  • Proactively engaging with internal project managers to ensure smooth flow of information to Finance.
  • Preparing prepayment and accruals, prepayments, accrued and deferred income.
  • Support all month end general accounting activities and cost analysis.
  • Supporting the year-end audit and financial statement production process.
  • Support the Finance Manager and Financial Controller in the production and monitoring of budgets.
  • Bear in mind this is a growing role in the organisation and is subject to change.
